You will always be able to see an SMS body and the sender in an SMS-alert independently on the current encoding. The contacts that are added from an application, where the encoding is different from the one, in which other contacts were created, will be converted into the encoding of the existing contacts. With the Remember Encoding function activated, the situation with differently encoded contacts just won't occur! You will always see the caller independently on the current encoding.
