IDGuard provides secure storage for your passwords, reg codes, PINs, documents, photos and any other sensitive information.
IDGuard can do more than a classic password manager:
Records can have attachments (documents, photos etc.) similarly to an e-mail client. Secure attachment processing is offered wherever possible.

Key Features
- Flexible GUI with all thinkable interfaces - a tree, list, icons or any combination.
- Customizable record templates and categories for storing all kinds of secret data
- Possibility to store free text records (secure memos)
- Special data editors for the address/ phone number/ e-mail
- Multiple data sources (password databases)
- Backup/restore of the stored data
- Export to html/xml/csv
- Sending records via SMS/ e-mail/ Bloetooth etc.
Security
- Use of the industrial encryption standard - AES
- Difficult password guessing: Subsequent login failures are punished with increasing delay
- Generate random passwords that cannot be guessed
- Password strength meter
Attachments
- Use built-in camera to create a photo attachment
- Use built-in audio recorder to create a sound attachment
- Attachments can be accessed also with Resco Explorer or any AES-compatible utility
During a preview the attachment is decrypted and passed to the doc reader, e.g. a Word document is opened in the Office package. After the processing is done, the document is returned to the IDGuard storage (if a change was detected) and finally deleted.
This ideal (secure) work flow is supported for these doc readers:
- Documents To Go since v9
- Mobi Office
- Palm PDF
- Kinoma
- TCPMP
- Resco Viewer
- Moreover, IDGuard itself provides jpg preview and mp3/wav replay
Other doc readers provide unsafe interface: They maintain a document copy and it is the user responsibility to secure his data.
