PjDb is a PersonalJava embedded application database package. Useful for Java applications targeted at the PDA market (Zaurus, iPaq, Dell). PjDb is similar to the Java MIDP RecordStore model. The design is focused on size, speed and application developer control. If your application requires or could benefit from a compact structured persistent storage package then try PjDB - it may be the answer you are looking for. The Trial version (PjDbLite) contains a licensed version of the PjDb binary code (jar file). The purchased version (PjDbPro) contains licensed versions of the PjDb source and binary code. Both versions contain demo source code.

PjDb Lite contains the complete PjDb package (jar and docs), as well as example demo application source and ready to run IPK file of the demo for the Sharp Zaurus SL-5xxx. PjDb can be embedded in your freeware, shareware OR commercial product absolutely free of charge! The only restrictions regard reverse engineering of the binaries and/or reselling of the package other than as an embedded component of an application - neither is allowed. PjDb Pro contains a licensed copy of the source code for the PjDb package as well as the PjDb jar, docs, example demo source and ready to run demo IPK file. Distribution of the orginal licensed source code or modified versions thereof are prohibited. The PjDb Pro version is made available for developers that need to customize/adapt PjDB for specialized applications or have support/escrow requirements. There is a license fee charged for PjDb Pro.
