MobileTracker for Windows Mobile

Key features

• Records a tracklog and all waypoints to a KML file which can be viewed on a desktop computer with Google Earth, Google Maps, NASA WorldWind or other applications which support the KML file format (which is based on XML).
• Easy to use! You only need the Start/Stop button if you are okay with the default settings.
• The timespan between two waypoints is configurable in the range from 1 to 300 seconds.
• Elevation tracking can be enabled and disabled.
  All KML altitude modes are supported: absolute, clamp to ground, relative to ground.
• Details included for the tracklog:
  - number of waypoints
  - start and end time
  - total time traveled
  - total distance traveled (in m, km, ft and mi)
  - direct distance start to end (in m, km, ft and mi)
  - total average speed (in m/s, km/h, fps and mph)
• Details included for each waypoint:
  - running number
  - time stamp
  - time traveled from start
  - distance traveled from start (in m, km, ft and mi)
  - direct distance to start (in m, km, ft and mi)
  - average speed from start (in m/s, km/h, fps and mph)
• Color coded status display: Easily see what MobileTracker is currently doing.
• GUI adapts to the screen size: MobileTracker presents itself in a more compact way on Smartphones than on PocketPCs.
• Regional settings of your device are respected for displaying and tracking of numbers and time information.
  Additionally elevation is automatically displayed in ft instead of m if the device is set to English (United States).

   

Requirements

• Mobile device running Windows Mobile 5 (Smartphone or PocketPC) or Windows Mobile 6 (Standard, Classic or Professional). MobileTracker does not work on Motorola Q devices.
• Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 (comes preinstalled with Windows Mobile 6, for Windows Mobile 5 it can be downloaded from Microsoft).
• Active GPS device (built-in or via Bluetooth) supported by Windows Mobile via the Intermediate GPS Driver.
