IMAGiNET Arabic Writer (updated 22-4-2004)

IMAGiNET Software releases version 1.2 of Arabic Writer, a full screen Arabic cursive handwriting recognition system.

IMAGiNET Arabic Writer enables full screen Arabic handwriting recognition and converts your handwriting input to text. Instead of pinpointing characters in the on screen keyboard or writing isolated letters in a specified area the user can use the full screen to write connected words.

Note that the device should be arabized by IMAGiNET Pocket Arabizer Suite.

User can write Arabic contacts, SMS, Notes and e-mails inside any application on the Pocket PC.

User can switch between isolated characters, numeric and full word modes.

Important Note:
The objective of this product is to provide Arabic Pocket PC users a more comprehensive and easier method than pinpointing the keyboard and writing isolated characters.

It's important in order to avoid over expectation to mention that this current version is not a free handwriting recognition system.

There are some few guidelines regarding Arabic handwriting styles which when followed will guarantee high accuracy and will make the system more usable than the on-screen keyboard.
