Nokia E51 takes out the camera

08 Feb 2008

Nokia E51 Because some corporations don't allow the use of camera phones in their buildings Nokia released a cameraless version of Nokia E51.

This version has the same features as the original Nokia E51, except the 2Mp camera.

The camera-free Nokia E51 is expected to begin shipping as early as Q1 2008 at an estimated retail price of 250 EUR, before subsidies or taxes. Strangely enough this is more than the camera-enabled version of the phone currently costs.
